"With a 35% yearly increase in revenues, for the 3rd year in a row, it is not surprising the company management decided to move into a new location, with larger facilities and larger office space" noted Itzik Dvir, COO of Shiron Satellite Communications. "Now that the move has been completed, the company will have a better suited environment to develop and deliver its next generation line of products, as well as support existing customer installations" he added.

An additional driver to the move was Shiron's desire to house all different company departments under one roof, thus improving information & knowledge sharing between all company departments.

After successfully deploying numerous installations of its state-of-the-art InterSKY technology, including Shiron's field proven DVB-S2 ACM, 16 & 32APSK outbound in combination with its 8PSK inbound bandwidth saving technology, as well as several Telco-grade GSM backhaul solutions, Shiron is working relentlessly on its next-generation line of InterSKY products.

As part of Shiron's preparation for the future satellite market, several new equipment labs have been established on the premises; including a large R&D lab which serves Shiron's R&D teams as part of the development and QA processes, an integration lab that serves the operations & integration teams to handle & simulate various operational scenarios (installations, troubleshooting, simulating field scenarios etc.) to assist in maintaining the high level of customer confidence & customer care, and an equipment lab, used by the R&D and manufacturing teams with the integration and assembly as part of the development cycle.
