TEL AVIV, ISRAEL – Jan 11, 2007 - Pacific Teleports announces a fully operational Shiron Intersky Hub operating on NSS-5 allowing Pacific customers to access more cost effective satellite bandwidth in the Pacific. The Intersky system allows for sharing of bandwidth among several users in both outbound and inbound directions, significantly lowering circuit costs. Unlike other systems, the Intersky Hub also allows for dedicated bandwidth in both inbound and outbound directions should a customer require it.
The Intersky system in located in Australia is already connecting many sites in the Pacific and also within Asia.
